Battle Worn
02:18
|
|||
Held captive by this mortal form
My body shattered, my spirit worn
The pain of existence can not be erased
Condemned to a life devoid of grace
Another night spent numbing the pain
The drink does nothing to ease the strain
Tortured by wounds from a thousand blades
My warriors’ heart replaced with shame
Crippled by sorrow, lost in the depths
Mocked by my comrades, nothing is left
A meaningless life, unable to fight
I welcome the frigid arms of death
Gods hear my prayers
Save me from this despair
Shrouded in endless night
Reaching towards the light

At the foot of the highest peak
My travels have led me to what I seek
The colossal door, carved into stone
Beckons me forward to treasures untold
Into the fetid, lifeless depths
Fear grips my mind, cold as death
Amidst the souls of the fallen
I will claim my prize
A presence stirs, roused from its sleep
Malice incarnate, born from the deep
The shadow emerges, freed from its tomb
Desire and folly have led me to my doom
Unholy bargain, quick to entice
Unlimited power, but at a price
Compelled by my sorrow, blinded by greed
The bargain is struck, by my hands these lands will bleed
Salt on the earth, salt in the wound
Divine intervention: It isn't coming soon
Pray for the Father, gaze upon the Mother
Let the bitch bleed then I pull them both under
The shadows take my hand and drag me down into sin
Power I’ve never known
Course through my veins and temper my bones
Power foul and grotesque
Primitive thoughts take hold, doomed to regress

Food for the Crows
02:54
|
|||
The crimson haze has clouded my sight
One with the blade, driven by spite
Challengers come and challengers fail
Basking in their wretched wails
A strength so vile and horrific
Has made its home in my bones
I revel in this pain
The battlefield is my domain
Countless dead
A sea of red
Swift as the kiss of death my blade cuts through them all
The ones who turned their backs will be the first ones to fall
My only thought is vengeance, my single burning need
Nothing left but my desire to make them bleed
Food for the Crows
The death toll grows
Piled high, the bodies stare with their unseeing eyes
The air grows thick with the stench of death and swarming flies
I walk alone amidst the rot, hunting my helpless prey
Their futile cries cannot keep the beast inside at bay
Lost amidst the rage, the primal urge prevails
Freed from my cage, I live to drive the nail
My conscience dies in darkness, never to return
Entranced by power so primitive I watch as my spirit burns
Torn limb from limb, entrails exposed
You’re nothing more than food for the crows

Depravity
01:05
|
|||
Nothing is left, there is no escape
Nowhere to run from the hell I have made
Possessed by regret, panic sets in
Crushed beneath the weight of my sins
My vengeance has been poured out
On friend and foe alike
Left in a world so desolate
I stare into the endless night
The earth is painted crimson
By my hand
No one to beg for forgiveness
Deeper I descend

Cast down
I walk the earth alone
Cast out
An isolation I’ve never known
Animalistic tendencies
Replace all logic or reason
My mind lies shattered at my feet
The price of this power revealed
A life of regression
To walk among the beasts
I am the hammer, the world is the nail
No end in sight, the aggression prevails
Condemned to this life, fallen from Grace
The power I sought brings nothing but disgrace
Primal damnation
Cast down
I walk the earth alone
Cast out
My terror only grows

Bestial Condemnation
03:07
|
|||
Desperation
Has led me to where it all began
My sanity continues to slip
Falling from my bloodstained hands
Below the mountain
Crawling on my hands and knees
Seeking absolution
Amongst the dead, I make my plea
Purify me
Undo what has been done
Begging falls upon deaf ears, my worthless soul is lost
No hope for me
No second chance
As I have sown, so I have reaped
I walk alone, more beast than man
My former self left to rot in the deep
